Rabbi Salig/Samuel Finkelstein (1924–1927/8)
Rabbi Finkelstein began serving as rabbi at Congregation Brith Sholem in 1924. His name appears as rabbi for the congregation on February 24, 1924, in The Ogden Standard-Examiner.[1] Finkelstein was very active within the congregation, especially with The Ogden Standard-Examiner, just like Rabbi Lehrer and Rabbi Freedman. He was heavily quoted in the newspaper, specifically to discuss Jewish holidays and events. The last time Rabbi Finkelstein was mentioned in any Utah newspapers was April 16, 1927.[2]
