Rabbi Robert Freedman (1922–1923/4)
Newspaper clipping stating Rabbi Freedman, spelled as Freidman in article, as new Rabbi to take charge of activities of the synagogue as Rabbi Lehrer leaves to a post in the East, Ogden Standard Examiner, February 8, 1922.
Rabbi Robert Freedman of Portland, Oregon, replaced Rabbi Lehrer in February 1922 and stayed until 1923 or 1924. There was very little information found about Rabbi Freedman except what was discovered in the Utah newspapers. For instance, Rabbi Freedman was sometimes referred to as Rabbi Max Freedman, instead of Robert. Also, it is unsure exactly when Rabbi Freedman left the synagogue as the last mention of him in Utah newspapers is June 24, 1923.
