Marilyn Weiss
"...Fighting every day for them..."
Marilyn Weiss was hired in 1975 as the Director of Women's Athletics. In a short time, she built five women’s teams from the ground up, leading the USU women to three national championships.
The interview covers Marilyn's career prior to her time at USU, her recruitment and experiences at USU, her departure for Florida State, and the effects of Title IX.
"They knew the best that we were doing the best we could, and you know, fighting every day for them, so it turned out to be a really good experience, I think, hopefully for all the athletes."
