USU Volleyball player Elaine Roqué

Elaine Roqué was a middle blocker on the 1979 women's volleyball team.

The interview covers Elaine's storied career playing volleyball, both in the US and internationally, her decision to leave UCLA and join USU in 1979, and her thoughts on the game, past and present.

"I think it was the summer of 1979, I was on the US collegiate team and a bunch of us were training together at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and I met some of the gals. ...Well I’ll drive back with them.  I had a van, and I drove back through Logan, and I fell in love with the area and the school."
