UAC Commencement Programs: 1919

Commencement Ceremony Program
June 9, 1919
This is the last commencement ceremony program included in this exhibit. The size of this graduating class was sixty-six students, including a master’s degree. Compared to the first graduating class of the Utah Agricultural College with a size of fifteen students, the amount of graduating students quadrupled. However, the amount of graduates in the years between 1894 and 1919 got above sixty-five students. Because of WWI, the graduating class sizes decreased during those years and a few after but eventually increased again.
With the different presidents and events that occurred within the first twenty-five of the school’s existence, the Utah Agricultural College flourished and has continued to grow each year since.
