U.A.C's first graduate degree is awarded to Charles T. Hirst in the Degree of Master of Science of Agriculture.
Utah Agricultural College was initially a designed as a four-year college heavily rooted in agricultural studies. Years after the agreement struck in 1907 with the University of Utah to limit their curricula to agriculture, domestic arts and mechanic arts, the U.A.C. was able to broaden their curricula again to include masters programs.
