Special thanks to Brad Westwood, Senior Public Historian from the Utah Department of Culture & Community Engagement, the host of the Speak Your Piece (SYP) podcast and author of Salt Lake West Side Stories who provided ongoing support for the course and peer reviewed the digital exhibition.

The research for this project received funded from the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), and we are grateful to the Utah State Archives and Records Service, Heidi Stringham, Records Manager/Archivist for the State of Utah, for partnering with us to digitize several collections for research purposes.

We woud also like to express our sincere thanks to the University of Utah and the Utah Department of Culture & Community Engagement, for their invaluable contributions in making a wealth of historical materials and photographs available online. Notably, the Classified Photographs Collection, the Shipler Commercial Photographs Collection, and the Utah Digital Newspapers repository – Utah's only keyword-searchable statewide digital newspaper repository, which were selected as curatorial materials for this exhibition.

The project team wishes to extend public acknowledgment to the individuals from the History 6020 Public History Theory & Methods Spring 2023 Class for their meaningful contributions to research and writing.
