While some Nowruz bazaars in Southern California are geared towards raising money for charity, others are focused on entertainment and providing an opportunity for businesses to sell their products and services. The Nowruz Bazaar and Expo at Hotel Irvine is an example of the latter. It is a prime shopping spot for many Iranian residents of Irvine, a place where they can find anything from handmade crafts and homemade jams to snacks and household products imported from Iran. As with most Iranian events, music and dance is an integral part of the experience.
