The building went through another period of renovations in the 1960s to modernize the equipment.[1] Such modifications included new sinks, better electric wiring, and brighter colors in the work areas for a lively atmosphere.[2] To keep up with technological standards, the 1970s saw the Family Life Building enter another period of renovations where elevators were installed.[3] In the 1980s, a computer lab was installed into the building.[4] In addition, a walkway was made and connecting the Family Life building with the Ray B. West Building.

Since its completion students past and present who use the Family Life Building look on it as a monument of pride to their school and program.[5] The Family Life Building stands on the Quad of Utah State University continuing to serve thousands of students as they learn the arts of human development and family life.
