Service was central to the mission of the Home Economics Club and, by extension, Phi Upsilon Omicron. In the 1960s and 1970s, the focus of service appears to have shifted from social gatherings to community projects. A 1973 scrapbook page commemorates one such project. Phi Upsilon Omicron members helped to make stuffed animals for the children in Logan L.D.S. Hospital’s pediatric ward.
