The Work of the USU Extension
The Extension Office provided classes and training for both the field and the home. The pictures below show how agricultural agents and home demonstration agents influenced farmers, their wives, and the world around them.

Here we see Mrs. Albert B. Barton, a Kaysville Relief Society President. This garden was planned by the agents and J. C. Hogenson, an extension agronomist, and was planted by Mr. and Mrs. Barton according to the plan given them. You will note the picture shows how the use of farm implements for cultivation is made possible by the long row system.

A close-up view of the debris which passed over the canal and which was, in part, removed from the canal in restoring service in the canal system. It is understood that the farmers were without water for a period of two weeks on account of this flood.

Debris carried down and across the canal and into farm lands north of Honeyville. This canal, along the west base of Wellsville Mountain, flows south and is a part of the water distribution system from the Cutler Dam, a Federal Reclamation Reservoir.
