He was also an invaluable help throughout the running of the Usambara Project in Mlalo. Mr. Shekoloa was a career educator in Mlalo and a well-known civic leader. Here, he stands along Hambalawei, one of the oldest surviving irrigation furrows in the Usambaras. </text>
