Matthew Browning, or M.S. Browning as he was often referred to, was David Eccles' primary business partner throughout the establishment of many industries, including the Ogden Rapid Transit Company. This photo of Browning, from 1900-1901, was taken as he was serving as the mayor of Ogden, Utah, and also during the same time period as the establishment and organization of the Ogden Rapid Transit Company.
