Description
On February 6, 1912 the Logan Republican reported an article titled, "Important Inter-Urban Franchises Granted." Hyde Park and Providence, Utah had both agreed to provide franchises to David Eccles and the Logan Rapid Transit Company for expansion into their cities. The Logan Republican notes that Eccles was determined to expand the lines, with or without a franchise, and would use private property and support if needed.
