Description
This is a detailing of a portion of the Rhind Mathematical Papyrus, an Ancient Egyptian scroll now housed in the British Museum. This scroll features mathematical problems, including the calculating of the slope of a pyramid, called a Seked. Dated to around 1550 BCE, it is one of the first surviving pieces of evidence for trigonometry.
