"Becker Compares Utah with California; Cites Danger of Prohibition," 1914

This article, printed in the Ogden Examiner, details Gustav Becker's trip to California. Mr. Becker's article is full of praises for Californian industry and agriculture. Two columns of the article are dedicated to Gustav's analysis of the proposed prohibition amendment to to the Californian constitution in 1914. He sights the loss of capital and revenue that prohibition would bring and voices his anti-temperance opinions. Gustav ends his editorial by citing the greatness of Utah and the people of Ogden.
