Title

Blueprint for a Counter-Pressure Racking Apparatus, 1894

Description

This is a blueprint for a counter-pressure racking apparatus designed to be used in a brewery. This machine was manufactured by H. Torchiani in New York City, New York. A counter-pressure racking apparatus was used to assist in the filling of kegs with beer. In an effort to be as modern as possible, the Becker Brewing and Malting Company purchased the most up to date machinery in the brewing industry. By 1906 the Becker Brewing and Malting Company factory was outfitted with similar equipment used by the large Eastern breweries.
