1923: Kappa Chapter of Phi Upsilon Omicron is created. This was the second Home Economics Student Association at USAC.

This is a piece of a scrapbook from the 1970's commemorating the annual Phi Upsilon Omicron fruit cake bake sale.

1935: The woman's building at this time also served as the student cafeteria until the 1950's when the Student Union building was built.

1959: School of Home and Family living is renamed the College of Family Life.

1890: Jeremiah Sanborn is elected first president of the Domestic Arts faculty at USAC. This marks the start of the Department of Family Life at USU. Abby Marlatt is one of two women among the first seven faculty at USAC. This marks the start of the history of female faculty in the College of Family Life.

1935: President E.G Peterson uses funds from the public works administration to build a new women's building. This was important because it has served as the Family Life Building ever since.

1909: Ellen Huntington becomes head of the Domestic Arts Department. She was the first of several women to be head of the Domestic Arts Department and its successors.
