View of a camel bell made from acacia wood, acquired from a nomad camp north of Mogadiscio, Somalia. One of the two original clappers is missing. The collar is made from the inner bark of acacia, and likely other trees. A typical example of a carved wooden bell used for centuries by Somali pastoralists.
