Before Bushnell

Summary

Before Bushnell

Long before Bushnell Hospital and the Intermountain Indian School came to Brigham City, the region played an important role in Utah’s and America’s history. It has a long record of human occupation and has seen much of the drama of Utah and the West unfold. This section explores the beginnings of Brigham City’s story, from Shoshones and mountain men to Mormon pioneers and the coming of the First Transcontinental Railroad.
